The Five Ancestors Fist seeks to enhance the development of our students throughout their entire training experience. To promote the historical kung fu system of the Five Ancestors Fist the empty hand, the weapons in relation to understand and be part of the historicity of those weapons, the self defense, the use of those weapons as instruments to aid in exercises for total physical well being and the promotion of good sportsmanship and discipline.

Empty Hand Form

Formulated empty hand movements design to enhance the fighting skills of one's use of fist, hands, arms feet and legs. The exercise is also design to develop total physical and mental well being.

Empty Hand form Drills

Two or more person set drills to develop strike sensitivity, distance, timing, focus, reaction, reflex, coordination, control, confidence and the no fear factor.

Weapons

Training in traditional weapons staff, spear, trident, sword, blade, etc. The training of weapons is to understand the history of those weapons and to use the weapons as an exercise tool to develop balance, coordination, concentration and as a means of self defense.

Weapon fighting drills one on one or more than one is design to develop weapon control, coordination, technique, contact sensitivity, confidence, reflex, focus and no fear factor.

Lei Tai Sport Fighting and Conditioning

Lei Tai sport fighting to provide a safe and friendly arena for goh cho athletes to engaged in full contact with the use of fundamental techniques that include striking, kicking and take downs. A feel of getting hit, the use of actual techniques and applications. Conditioning that include forearm, fist and feet strengthening to be able to execute effective powerful techniques without injuriring oneself.

WELCOME TO THE FIVE ANCESTORS FIST

The Five Ancestors Fist or Goh Cho Kun was founded in Fujian province China in the 1800's by prominent Tai Cho Fist masters 太祖拳. It is a combination of the five kung fu system they are: 

1. Tai Cho Fist for it is power, explosiveness and strength.

2. Lo Han boxing for its flexibility and speed.

3. Monkey Fist for its agility and dexterity.

4. Fujian White Crane Fist for its intricate and lighting whipping technique.

5. Da Mo for its breathing internal "qi" technique the ability to absorb and deflects hits.

In the mid 1900's due to the civil war, war with Japan and later the communist takeopver of mainland China several Goh Cho Kun masters will migrate to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan and established their new home to continue to teach the combat art of Five Ancestors Fist to become an integral martial art culture of their new country. The influence of the Five Ancestors Fist will be incorporated with the development of Karate, Silat, Kuntao, Eskrima and Kick Boxing.

  • Wash hands frequently

  • Practice your kung fu regularly

  • Cover your mouth or sneeze or coughing on your forearms.

  • Kung fu training avoid full contact drills
